As a happily married father of 2 and flaming HETEROsexual male, I have to confess a little secret to the cyber-world.
I love John H. McWhorter.

"John H. Mc Who?," you ask.

John McWhorter, he is a linguistics professor at probably the most liberal of Liberal Universities in the country, UC-Berkeley.
He is an excellent writer about many topics, but only as long as those topics include racism in American society today and "Affirmative Action." I've recently finished reading his book
"Losing the Race: Self-Sabotage in Black America"
Simply put, the man is a genius, and hence, my love for him.
(I know Hadji, who's been sneaking in here daily, thought I was saving myself for him, but, alas, my heart burns for another man, sorry buddy.)

If it didn't dawn on you within the first few sentences of the second one, I'll go ahead and tell you that John is a black man. (Not that I have a problem with the possibility of an inter-racial relationship with him, it's just that I think my overwhelming sense of utter non-gayness and love of women would get in the way. Plus, my wife would get pissed.)
