Fact Check:

On several occasions, Senator Daschle has politicized the Enron failure in his comments.

"I think that we are slowly ‘Enronizing’ the economy, ‘Enronizing’ the budget. We are -- we are taking the same approach Enron used in sapping retirement funds and providing them to those at the very top. That's exactly what Enron did, and I'd sure hate to see the United States do that, as well, but that seems to be -- to be the practice."
